Hilltop
Christian Camp
Hilltop Christian Camp is a non-profit 501(c)(3) tax exempt
organization. Gifts of money or the value of gifts for equipment
or supplies may be deducted for income tax purposes. A tax deductible
receipt for donations will be provided upon request as well
as a copy of current financial reports. There are two specific
areas of financial involvement in the ministry of Hilltop Christian
Camp.
General Operating Fund
Day to day operation of the camp is handled through this account.
Included are staff salaries, facility maintenance, office, promotion
& travel expenses, insurance, utilities and program activities,
including food for campers. It is vital to note that registration
fees for summer campers will cover only approximately one-half
the actual cost for these general operational expenses.
We purposely set our fees at a below cost basis so as to make
it possible for more young people to be involved in our programs.
However, Hilltop then depends upon significant donations of
cash and supplies from individuals and area supporting churches
to help make up the difference in the cost of operation and
the tuition fees received. Generous love gifts are vital in
our ability to maintain a quality Christian camping program.
Capital
Improvement Fund
Major improvements
to the camp facility are handled through this account. The generosity
of many people will be vital for the continued success of improving
the camp facilities.
