Meet the Camp Manager

picture of Eric Carlson Eric Carlson is not new to Hilltop, but has worked in other capacities over the last 6 years. In September 2005, Eric joined the full-time staff as assistant manager. Eric then assumed the role of manager in August 2006, upon the semi-retirement of Jim Campbell who served as the camp manager for 25 years. Eric, along with his wife Tammy and son Isaac make their home here at Hilltop. They moved here from Spencer, Indiana where they were both teachers and actively involved in both Spencer Christian Church and Owen Valley Christian Fellowship. In the summers of 2001 - 2005, Eric and his wife worked on staff in various roles. They are both graduates of Indiana State University. Besides his teaching degree, Eric holds a degree in Parks and Recreation Management. In addition to his general management duties, Eric is responsible for camp promotion, assisting in facility maintenance and serves as the camp's assistant treasurer.
